One for the Boys! Liam Gallagher Launches New Pretty Green Store

Following on from the huge success of their Carnaby Street store, Pretty Green launched their second London pop-up store in Covent Garden. Located in Covent Garden's iconic East Piazza last weekend. The new store houses both the Black and Green Label collections and features iconic imagery from Liam’s latest shoot for the SS 11 collection.

Liam Gallgher also revealed that a new Beady Eye album will be ready by next year, although I'm not sure why as they sounded awful on Later with Jools Holland a few weeks ago.

Gallagher said that the follow-up to 2010's 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' will be 'storming'.

''We’ve started and it’s sounding good – we’re not messing about. We’ll have bits of time off but we won’t be sitting around watching Jeremy Kyle, we’ll be in the studio,'' Gallagher told MTV.

He added: ''It won’t be out this year, but we’ll record about February and I reckon it’ll be out next summer.”

Anyway, if you like me are not a fan of the mans latest music venture you may be more be more interested in his forray into fashion. I for one am.

Christian Louboutin still seeing Red

Yves Saint Laurent are vehemently denying accusations by Christian Louboutin that they copied his trademark red soles.

Sexy Strass 100 Swarovski crystal peep-toe pumps

Oh dear, what a curfuffle.. don't designers always copy each other and then the high street follows.. I know a lot of the high end stores stock both brands but live and let live and all that..I think it's all a bit silly but why didn't YSL just create an electric blue sole, that would of had the fashion crowd salvating with all the colour blocking and brights this season..

YSL have come back with the retort:
"Red outsoles are a commonly used ornamental design feature in footwear, dating as far back as the red shoes worn by King Louis XIV in the 1600s and the ruby red shoes that carried Dorothy home in The Wizard of Oz," court papers filed by YSL read. "As an industry leader who has devoted his entire professional life to women's footwear, Mr Louboutin either knew or should have known about some or all of the dozens of footwear models that rendered his sworn statement false."

In a lawsuit launched last month in New York, Louboutin is seeking damages of $1 million, which amounts to roughly 500 pairs  of the Sexy Strass 100 Swarovski crystal peep-toe pumps above, ( give a crystal or two)
from YSL which - Louboutin claims - has copied his signature coloured sole on "virtually identical" shoes.

Apparently the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office awarded Louboutin a trademark for the red sole in 2008, according to the complaint but if that's the case how are countless high street shoe shops producing and selling bright red soled shoes? I'm sure it's not because this is a points scoring exercise is it? Well, who knows? Who cares.. At the end of the day they're all going to go back to their gorgeous houses in their gorgeous shoes and probably toast each others ridiculously over-priced but free cocktails at some industry do or another.

This Proposal video had me in tears.. it's so sweet and has over ten million views!

If proposing wasn't nerve wrecking enough, now all you men out there have got to really step up after this amazing proposal from a film-loving romantic Matt Still to his girlfriend on the 16th of May.. Grab a hanky because it will make you cry, or is that just me??

Lucky but unsuspecting girlfriend Ginny Joiner sat down to watch the new "Fast Five" film with her brother and after a perfectly normal set of trailers the special feature began. You can watch Ginnys reaction the whole way through.. it's so sweet as she bursts into tears and asks her brother is that her boyfriend and dad.. oh be-still my beating heart!

I'm also definitely not alone in thinking so as it's already had over10,000,000 views.. I love the name as well, "Making the Movies Jealous! Indeed..

Gorgeous Georges Fight against the Italian fashion mafia.

Or maybe just three guys who spuriously claimed to have created the George Clooney indorsed GC collection.. original eh?

Poor George Clooney had to go to court with his big brown eyes and defend himself from one of the biggest crimes against fashion, yeah you’ve probably guessed it.. Long denim shorts.. WRONG, so wrong!

George stated:  "Here, for instance. I don't smoke and I don't wear that watch," Clooney said. Then after a pause he added, "I also don't wear long jean shorts."

Poor thing!

They also had the audacity to photoshop Georges head onto pictures of him wearing said “long jean shorts”.. which is quite clever really. People would think it really was Georges head but on a body double.. they do it all the time in Hollywood.

I do this kind of thing all the time in holiday pictures, my eyes, my lips, then everything else is a mix of J-lo and body parts from any dozen super-models..I honestly think I look fabulous.

Fashion Fix: J Brand bright royal blue skinny alternative in Zara now!

I've saved myself a massive £170 on my lunch break by purchasing a fabulous pair of bright blue skinny stretch jeans in Zara for an amazing £35. 99. Not only that., but my friends may even talk to me again as I've been banging on about these jeans so much for the past few weeks that they've abandoned any hope of a normal conversation with me.

811 mid-rise twill cropped skinny jeans

I do get a little OCD when I fall in love with something .. unfortunately this time the obsession in question was going to cost me £205 smackers…not good!

Anyways, I’m happy now but I’m not sure if I have anything to wear with it.. I think I should go with something bright as well, maybe a red belt and a green t-shirt.. totally rock the bright trend and also I’ll probably need a white sluchy tee for a more casual look.. yay.. I’m in love.
